gray (n) : an achromatic color of any lightness between the extremes of black and white

lately i've been obsessed with blacks, whites, grays, and navys. i will purchase and wear anything gray or navy, it's pretty close to disgusting how many gray things i own... 

here are two of my favorite women around town in my favorite shade. 

 

a: mary-kate olsen in a shirt similar to the american apparel tri-blend light weight raglan pullover and jeans with a cute metallic clutch (kind of like this). also sported: brown belt, rings, and black nail polish. 

b: vanessa hudgens filling up in the cutest patent white booties (if you can find a better replica let me know! ), cigarette style jeans, oversized cardigan, and metallic hair pin. 

so i layed out a few of my grays and whites :)

i want so much but can afford soo little, and with summer just around the corner i feel like i need to redo my wardrobe. (or at least add pretty clothes to it). here are just a few !

so my laptop makes this weird clicky sound every time i turn it on and freezes, so i think i'm going to get that checked. i'm using my old desktop now, which limits where i can post! anyways here are some outfits from this weekend...

comic strip (n) : a narrative sequence of cartoon panels

Art Spiegelman created the prisoner on the hell planet: a case history comic strip about his mother's suicide. both art's parents survived the holocaust. his father became completely frugal, and his mother dove deep into depression. mainly because he came from a disturbed household, when he was around 20 he suffered an "intense but brief" nervous breakdown and after a few months in a mental hospital, he returned home to live with his parents. it was shortly after that his mother took her own life. the following was moving as well as interesting so i decided to post!

obsession (n) : an unhealthy and compulsive preoccupation with something

a few weeks ago i realized that shoes are a vital part of any outfit. i used to slip on a pair of sandals or flats with whatever i was wearing, but one day i realized that this isnt right. since that day my fashion world has opened up to so much many more options like boots and booties, heels, etc. :)

the black charles and keith heels are brand new and havent even been worn yet! i'm dying to wear them out soon. my mom picked them up for me in singapore after i gave her an idea of what i wanted. i picked shoes exactly like the steve madden booties when i was in a topshop in ireland a few years back, and i wear them constantly. my friend calls them my peter pan shoes. and i just bought the sam edelman simona oxfords in tobacco on sale from $130 to $78, i was pretty excited and i wear them with tights and jeans and such.

mkay! this isn't too exciting for a first post, but i promise more is to come!

 ps... i'm kind of totally into shoes.
